Our Story
Madeleine Simone Dumhart & Stefan Kaindlstorfer -
Friends from afar became partners for life in 2017. A year later, in 2018, came the magical marriage proposal on the island of Curaçao – a place close to Stefan's heart, where he lived for two years and formed deep friendships that will last a lifetime. Since then, we have been dancing through life together – between Malta and Austria, between a long-distance relationship, everyday family life, and sand between our toes.
How often have we been asked – it felt like constantly, and YES, it was really annoying – when this back and forth between Malta and Austria would finally come to an end. We never really understood the question, because for us it's not back and forth, but exactly the life we have chosen – and one that we love and enjoy every second of. (So please stop asking.)
We manage our colorful lives with lots of laughter, even more love, and a healthy dose of improvisation. What connects us is more than a place: it is the home we have found within ourselves.
We love to travel and always carry that sense of togetherness with us.
Home is where you are.
Our hearts beat fastest for our home in Altenberg near Linz—our shelter, close to family and best friends. Between the apple tree and the gutter, pottering around the house and in the garden is not just part of everyday life, but has become part of our shared growth.
Our love thrives on connection – no matter how many miles lie between us. For us, closeness is not a coincidence, but a daily choice. And so we are deeply grateful for what we share: the deep trust, the laughter in small moments, the great wonder we experience together.
We are family.
Our Lorenz started out as a curious little bundle of energy – today he is a young man with an alert mind and a big heart who inspires us time and time again.
Always something going on...
Once upon a time, we had a cat named Kiwi—and now we have Mimi. Our dachshund lady with a lot of personality that makes us smile every day, whether she's stealing blankets, giving us a stormy welcome, or giving us that determined look when cheese is involved.
Career and vocation? Our own companies give us room for creativity, meaning, and freedom—we love what we do, and we continue to grow professionally together.
And good food. Yes, we love that!
Taking time to chat together at the table and enjoy a meal. And a few drinks with our closest friends.
Our love for music connects us both – whether it's loud in the car, soft while cooking, or right in the middle of a live concert that we celebrate together as if there were no tomorrow. Music is our shared heartbeat – and we've not only attended many concerts, but also rocked out at quite a few.

We know this from Madeleine. She especially loves dressing up (and not taking herself too seriously) – and so many evenings with friends turned into wild nights full of wigs, sequins, and lots of laughter.
And dancing, dancing, dancing.
